Bio:

Grew up in New Hampshire; taught high school history in independent schools for 16 years in and around New York City; moved to SF in 1993; PhD in Education from UC DAVIS (2002); co-founded SF Freedom School (2005-2010); teaching political science at SFSU since 2007;  curently teaches three classes and is Director of SFSU's Experimental College
