Bio:

Edward J. Rovera graduated from the University of California Irvine with a BA in Psychology and earned his MS Ed (emphasis in Educational Technology Leadership) from the California State University Hayward (now CSU East Bay). He joined the San Francisco State University School of Nursing in 2008 as a Nursing Informatics Specialist and is currently the Simulation Educator there. He was certified by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare as a Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and a Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) in 2015. Mr. Rovera has been a manuscript reviewer for Clinical Simulation in Nursing since 2014 and was appointed to its Editorial Board in January of 2017. He has presented on a variety of topics at IMSH, IPSSW, INACSL, and SimGHOSTS USA. While still involved in being the operations manager of the simulation center, he is presently focusing his energy on the ongoing viability and improvement of the School’s Nursing Simulation Program.
