About Ned L Fielden

Ned Fielden, Librarian, joined the faculty in 1995. He is a liasion to the departments of Philosophy, Classics and Jewish Studies in the College of Libreral and Creative Arts. His research interests include the History of Libraries and the development of Intellectual Culture within Universities. He has served as the chair of the University Tenure and Promotions Committee and CFA's Faculty Rights panel.

He received his B.A. from Hampshire College, an M.A. in History from Sonoma State, and an M.L.I.S. from UC Berkeley.
