Bio:

Serie McDougal, III is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Africana Studies, in the School of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University. He received his B.S. in Sociology from Loras College in Dubuque, IA, an M.A. in Africana Studies at the State University of New York at Albany, NY, and a Ph.D. in African American Studies from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. His research areas of interest consist of African Psychology, Afrocentric Education, and Afrocentric Social\ Political Theory.
