Dr. Lily Chen received a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the State University of New York School of Medicine in Buffalo in 1991. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA (1991-1993). From 1993-1995, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the Gladstone Institute of Virology and Immunology at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr.
Dr. Mak is Emeritus Professor and was Professor in the Department of Information Systems at San Francisco State University. Dr. Mak received the MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, MS in Statistics and Ph.D. in Business from Northwestern University. In 2003 Dr.

I retired in January 2021 after teaching 30 and half years at SFSU. The first vacation was driving to Alabama Hill in April 2021 after fully vaccinated for COVID. Currently I am teaching part-time under University's FERP program since Fall 2021.
