Brigitte 'Webjefa' Davila

Davila is an outspoken advocate for accessible quality public education at the local, state and national level.  As a first generation Latina student, she benefited from access to UC Berkeley for both her B.A. degree in Rhetoric and J.D. degree in Law. She has taught U.S. government & policy classes for over 25 years in the College of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University. Davila also pioneered the systemic implementation of a Community Service Learning platform across the Latina/o Studies Department institutionalizing the work of the community with the academy.

Carlos B Cordova, Ed.D.

Retired from San Francisco State University in the Spring of 2021. Former Department Chair and Professor Emeritus of Latina/Latino Studies (formerly Raza Studies), College of Ethnic Studies. San Francisco State University. Courses taught: Acculturation Issues of La Raza; Art History of La Raza; Central Americans in the U.S.; Community Organizing; Immigration Issues and La Raza; Indigenismo: Indigenous Culture and Personality; Caribbean Cultures; Latinos in the U.S.: Religion and Spirituality.

Allyson Tintiangco

Dr. Allyson Tintiangco-Cubales is an associate professor of Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University's College of Ethnic Studies. She is also the founding director of Pin@y Educational Partnerships (PEP), an educational pipeline focused on providing ethnic studies to schools throughout San Francisco.
