Dr. Valerie Rosenblatt is an assistant professor in the International Business Department at San Francisco State University. She holds a PhD in International Management from Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Background. Professor Heiman’s education includes an A.B. in Psychology from Stanford (1981); an M.S. from Stanford in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design (1983); an M.B.A. from Universiteit Nijenrode, NL (1990); and a PhD from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business (Business and Public Policy, 2002). He has published in a substantial number of academic journals and conference proceedings as well as refereed books.
Venoo Kakar is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the College of Business at San Francisco State University since 2013. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Riverside in 2013 with a focus in Macroeconomics, Financial Economics and Econometrics. She was honored with the prestigious Dean’s Distinguished Fellowship Award and Outstanding Teaching Award at UC Riverside. She also has prior professional experience in Development Economics at the World Bank and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
