Sam S Gill, Ph.D.

I teach and publish (articles, books, and courseware) in many areas of Information Technology (IT) focusing on strategic, managerial, and technical Issues. My current research interests include development methodologies for mobile devices (phone and tablets), development architectures, platforms and languages including: .NET, PHP, MySQL, Ruby on Rails, WebSphere, Visual Basic, C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Java.

Occasionally, I still teach IBM mainframe topics such as: COBOL, CICS, and DB2.

Minu Kumar

Minu Kumar is a Professor of Marketing at San Francisco State University (SFSU) and serves as the Vice President of Academics for the Product Development Management Association (PDMA). PDMA publishes the Journal of Product Innovation Management. He received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Government College of Pharmacy (Bangalore University, 1996), a Masters in Business Administration (Concentration in Pharmaceutical Marketing, 2002) and a Ph.D in Marketing (minor: pharmaceutical marketing, 2008) from the University of Mississippi.

David S Walsh

David Walsh is the director of The Urban Youth Development Project (UYDP), which is housed in the Department of Kinesiology at San Francisco State University. Goals of UYDP align with the three missions of the university. 1) Service: Create university-community collaborations with local schools and youth agencies in San Francisco’s underserved communities to provide innovative physical activity-based youth programs.

Betty Yu

Betty Yu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Before joining the faculty at San Francisco State, she practiced as a speech-language therapist primarily serving young children and their families in minority communities. Her research interest is in how children's language development interfaces with the development of sociocultural competence.
