Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification

The MOS Certification is a proctored 50-min live in the application test that can be taken for the various MS Office applications, such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The test is Windows PC based, you will need to know the Windows version of Excel 2016. Passing one core test will earn one the “Specialist” title. For Word and Excel, there is an advanced “Expert” test as well. Passing both Expert tests for Word and Excel and 2 core tests for 2 of the other 3 applications earns one the “Master” title. Passing grade is 70%. It is an official Microsoft certification with a digital badge for LinkedIn and good for your resume.

In general, you could get tested and certified at any public Certiport Authorized Test Center. You could take the same test at any of these locations as well but would have to pay and go there. http://portal.certiport.com/Locator
