Jonathan Hx Lee
Jonathan Lee specializes in Southeast Asian and Sino-Southeast Asian American studies at San Francisco State University. He received his PhD in Religious Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2009. He is the Program Co-chair of the Asian American religious studies sections for the American Academy of Religion, Western Region (AAR/WR) conference.

Russell M Jeung
Dr. Russell Jeung received a BA in Human Biology and a MA in Education from Stanford University. After working in China and in the Mayor's Office of San Francisco, he obtained his PhD in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000. After teaching at Foothill College for two years, he came to San Francisco State University's Asian American Studies Department in 2002.

Ashley D. Aaron is Lecturer Faculty at San Francisco State University in the College of Ethnic Studies, where she lectures in the Department of Africana Studies, and in the Department of Race and Resistance Studies. Her current teaching and research interests are the history and current manifestation of racism in the Americas, Global Black Liberation Movements, enslavement and resistance in the Americas, Black women's responses and organizing strategies to state sanctioned violence, Black art and culture, and Culturally Responsive Education in public and private schools.
Melissa K Nelson
Melissa K. Nelson, Ph.D. is an ecologist, writer, editor, media-maker and native scholar-activist. She is Anishinaabe/Métis/Norwegian and an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. Her work is dedicated to indigenous rights and revitalization, Native science and biocultural diversity, ecological ethics and sustainability, and the renewal and celebration of community health and cultural arts.
